Arike Ogunbowale

Arike is an American professional player who plays for the Dallas Wings Women's National Basketball Association. She played basketball in college for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings selected her as five selections in the year 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was conceived on the 2nd of March in 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26 years old) and Dare Ogunbowale (19 years) are her two older brothers. She is the youngest of her siblings and received the most attention from her parents. Gregory's father was part of the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale grew up within a family that was busy. Her mother Yolanda played softball for DePaul as did her brother Dare. Dare has a career in football. Her aunt played the sport of volleyball in UAPB. Also, her cousin Endia plays volleyball too at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale appeared in the honor roll of her school for three years straight. During her time in high school, Ogunbowale won numerous awards and became famous. Arike received her diploma in Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is within the town of Arike's birthplace. In addition to studying, Arike played three varsity teams while at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School. Ogunbowale led her team to stunning victories with her extraordinary skills numerous times. With 73 high-school starts during her professional career, Ogunbowale has 1,477 points with 739 rebound. Ogunbowale competed in 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships which she took home gold medals. In July of 2014, she was selected to be a member of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also selected to the ACC All-Freshman Team after her first collegiate season. The coach even thanked the Kobe Bryant after she hit several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career has gotten getting off to a great start and she is expected to continue in that direction. Arike Ogunbowale could be worth $5 million according to an anonymous source. Ogunbowale isn't just an excellent basketball athlete. She also excels in many other sports as well. She is an active soccer player. She has won three State Cup titles for Lake County United Soccer Club in addition to a State Cup title at FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. She also studied piano for seven years.
